To let go does not mean to stop caring, it means I can’t do it for someone else.
To let go is not to cut myself off, it’s the realization that I can’t control another.
To let go is not to enable, but to allow learning from natural consequences.
To let go is to admit powerlessness, which means the outcome is not in my hands.
To let go is not to try to change or blame another, it’s to make the most of myself.
To let go is not to care for, but to care about.
To let go is not to fix, but to be supportive.
To let go is not to judge, but to allow another to be a human being.
To let go is not to be in the middle arranging all the outcomes, but to allow others to affect their own destinies.
To let go is not to be protective, it’s to permit another to face reality.
To let go is not to criticize, or regulate anyone, but to try to become what I dream I can do.
To let go is to fear less, and to love more.

Yes we cannot be our self if we try to please others, without pleasing our self
when we let go of self as well as others we learn to cope with life having only
the GRACE OF GOD TO GUIDE US. We should let go there also and become plyable
like clay, for he is the potter and remember we are the clay.

What timing! I’m facing a situation this week that is totally out of my control. I’ve turned it over to the Lord and am just waiting for the outcome. To let go means to place it gently into God’s loving hands and allow Him to chose what’s best for us! Thanks, Kenny T! Enjoy your week! 🙂

Thank you for this post, It reminds me of cutting the cord with one of my sons. All I do is hope as I continue to love. He is in God’s hands as he makes choices he lives by.

This is wonderful! And you know, putting this wisdom into personal practice gives one the freedom to move on in their own life, and the opportunity to see with new eyes all the possibilities available. Turning over to God what is already in His power to do… letting go of our attempt to control!
